Top Polytechnic for IVP (Institute Varsity Polytechnic) Games 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2nd in 2009.

Our club consists of 70 athletes currently. Our events range from short distances to long distances and field events. We have trainings twice a week which increases as we approach the competition season. We compete mainly in the IVP (Inter-Varsity Polytechnic) Games & the POL-ITE Games. Track and Field Club is all about perseverance and determination. Every NP athlete trains as a team, fights as a team and eventually wins as a team. Furthermore, we want to nurture our members to be able to do ordinary work extraordinary, always go beyond whats expected and adding integrity to every action.

Here's MONDAY, 20 August 2007's training workout from Coach Qi:

ALL runners : Standing Broad Jump X 5 , Standing Triple Jump X 5 +

SHORT D runners : 60m X 3, (Break: 15mins), 80m X 3, (Break: 15mins), 120m X 3 (Rest: 5mins)

400m runners : 60m X 5, (Break: 15mins), 80m X 3, (Break: 15mins), 450m X 2 (Rest: 8mins)

MID D runners : 800m X 1 (ALL OUT; 100%), (Break: 20mins), 200m X 6

HeYA mY deaR NP TRACK&FIELD famiLy!!

WARNING!!

This coming FRIDAY, 10 August 2007, will be our last training before we suspend our trainings for 2 weeks due to exams and preparations.

Trainings will resume on 27 August 2007 @ 5pm @ the cool blue track.

Meanwhile, some of us will still be training during these 2 weeks.
Qi coach will be giving me all the workouts for all.
Therefore, I will put up on the blog on every Sunday or latest the day before.
(Workout will be as usual for Monday, Wednesday and Friday)
If you are interested to train, do join us yea!

Though exams are coming, don't be stressed up ya!! =)
