Top Polytechnic for IVP (Institute Varsity Polytechnic) Games 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2nd in 2009.

Our club consists of 70 athletes currently. Our events range from short distances to long distances and field events. We have trainings twice a week which increases as we approach the competition season. We compete mainly in the IVP (Inter-Varsity Polytechnic) Games & the POL-ITE Games. Track and Field Club is all about perseverance and determination. Every NP athlete trains as a team, fights as a team and eventually wins as a team. Furthermore, we want to nurture our members to be able to do ordinary work extraordinary, always go beyond whats expected and adding integrity to every action.

Hello all juniors and seniors,



For those who wil be receiving ivp jackets, ive sent them for embroiding and its 5 bucks each. You'll know that you're getting the jackets if you participated in IVP or Pol-ite AND have a go0d attendance. However even if you did not participate in either of those, but have a good attendance, you'll get the jacket too. (: Please pay the amount to wei yang when you collect it from 20Feb onwards. Thanks! (anyway for those who wants to know if youre receiving the jacket, mail me for enquires.)

TAS AQUATHLON 2009

HI PEOPLES.

The Triathlon Association of Singapore (TAS) Inter-Collegiate & Schools Aquathlon is coming up soon. It's the equivalent of IVP for triathlon. So Tri-elite is looking for more people (other than their own) to take part in this important event.

These are some details:

Date: 21 March 2009, Saturday
Time: about 10am (will be confirmed)
Event: 750m swim & 5km run
Categories:
Guys individual and *relay
Girls individual and *relay
(*one person swims another person runs)

Those interested will need to meet Eugene (Lim) of Tri-Elite on wednesday, 11 Feb, 4.30pm regarding this event.

So please let me know asap if you are interested to partcipate. I'll let you know more details about it.

The allowance is not fixed.

Hi friends,

The last training day for those who are not particapatin for the 2nd All Comers will this coming fri, 06/02/2009. While the last training day for those who are participatin in the 2nd All Comers will be on the next fri, 13/02/2009. In future, i'll hope to see full attendance for EVERY members. Try to train earlier or another day if you cant make it for training. Next, for the sports camp show case, i've already sent our ideas of games to the in charge round a week ago so we just have to wait their reply for the time bein. At the mean time, you guys can give us your name if you are interested to help out. Futhermore, lets try to go down to gombak stadium to support our fellow members for the 2nd All Comers next weekend.. In addition, i'm requestin to get the lights on for us durin trainin. Last but not least, we cant get subsidies for national vertical marathon as its not in our master budget last year. Ultimately, im still doin the ivp jackets so hope you guys can understand(: Anyway, speedy recovery for tim and sin hung. All the best guys for your revisions!
