Top Polytechnic for IVP (Institute Varsity Polytechnic) Games 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2nd in 2009.

Our club consists of 70 athletes currently. Our events range from short distances to long distances and field events. We have trainings twice a week which increases as we approach the competition season. We compete mainly in the IVP (Inter-Varsity Polytechnic) Games & the POL-ITE Games. Track and Field Club is all about perseverance and determination. Every NP athlete trains as a team, fights as a team and eventually wins as a team. Furthermore, we want to nurture our members to be able to do ordinary work extraordinary, always go beyond whats expected and adding integrity to every action.

Hello everybody,

Sports Camp Track & Field showcase is here. This year there will be 250 freshies joining the camp and they will be visiting different sports stations and Track & Field is one of the lucky ones. We will be having a briefing and trial run for the showcase case this coming Monday. Meeting venue will be at track and the time will be 3pm. Give a reply to Shuan here to show that you are coming down.

Next, CCA Fiesta will be held when the academic year begins and we have come out with the designs. We'll like to confirm the no. of helpers so that we can place orders now. Please confirm your names with Wei Yang.

In addition, some of our members are having All Comers Meet this weekend so make yourself free to support them(:

Lastly, training will be 5.30pm on Mon, Wed and Fri from this week onwards.

Confirmed booking of Free Weight Gym on every Monday Training from 16 Mar to 13 Apr, 6pm to 8:30pm. We must put the weights and bars to the racks after use; proper use of the equipment. And to leave the gym by 9pm.

The 4th all comers meet is as follows:

Date: 4th and 5th April 2009
Venue: Gombak stadium
Fee: $6 per event (will be subsidized)

Events
Guys: 200m, 800m, 5000m, 400m hurdles (0.914m), 2000m walk, high jump, long jump, discus (1.75 or 2.00kg)
Girls: 200m, 800m, 3000m or 5000m, 400m hurdles (0.762), 2000m walk, triple jump, shot put, javelin

Hello friends,

Great trainin today guys! Please be reminded that training will be every mon, wed and fri at 5.30 pm and we manage to bring in the coach earlier compared to the past. Secondly, for those who are interested in helpin out in the sports camp track and field showcase, kindly send me your particulars (name, sudent no, course). It will be on the 18th of March, 1pm-6pm(training as usual afterr that). Last but least, the committee will be desginin a tee shirt for cca fieats (first week of school term)helpers so those who are helpin and wants the tee shirt, send your particulars to me too(: cca points will be awarded for both events!
