Top Polytechnic for IVP (Institute Varsity Polytechnic) Games 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2nd in 2009.

Our club consists of 70 athletes currently. Our events range from short distances to long distances and field events. We have trainings twice a week which increases as we approach the competition season. We compete mainly in the IVP (Inter-Varsity Polytechnic) Games & the POL-ITE Games. Track and Field Club is all about perseverance and determination. Every NP athlete trains as a team, fights as a team and eventually wins as a team. Furthermore, we want to nurture our members to be able to do ordinary work extraordinary, always go beyond whats expected and adding integrity to every action.

Do double-check with our committee members or fellow trackers as our training days and venue varies for fielders and runners according to both our coaches' requirements.

Changes to training dates(:

Hi Track & Field members,

First week's training after school starts will be 5.30pm on Mon and Fri(Coach will only be presence on Mon only). Wed will be the for freshman bonding session and we'll bond, play games and let them try out various events. Feel free to come down to help out.

Second week onwards, Senior's training will be on Mon, Wed and Fri. Freshman training will be on Mon and Wed but coach will be present every Mon and Wed only.

Recruitment of Student Volunteers for Asian Youth Games (AYG) (Football Preliminaries)

Dear members,

It is opened to all students who have yet volunteered for any role in the coming Asian Youth Games (AYG).
Details responsibilities will only be made known at a later date.
No training will be scheduled during your common test (8 to 14 June)
Open to all CURRENT students representing Track & Field, SSC (GLs, helpers or committee), Football club, Volleyball club.

Date: 15 - 25 June 2009 ( vacation break )
Visitors: 32 teams from the Asian NOC countries
Expected duty start: 13
JuneInvolvement timing: MUST be flexible
Student Liaison Officers (LOs) Needed : 70 student leaders (Criterion is for the students chosen as Student LOs to be responsible, capable, responsible, and reliable, full of integrity, flexible and enthusiastic individuals who are self-initiators, )
Some duties involved: Plays host to the foreigners and sometimes need to respond to unanticipated requests and demands from the foreign officials and athletes.
Interested students are to inform me by this Fri.
